Oregon Honey Festival, is Family-Friendly and open to the general public on Saturday Aug. 18, 2018 from 11AM-5PM at the Ashland Elks Lodge in Ashland, Oregon.
Kids 8 years and under are admitted free (with parent). This fun and tasty, Honey, Mead and Cheese tasting event provides education about bees, honey, mead, and beekeeping.
There are presentations on a range of topics. This will be an opportunity for the public to learn about Bee Culture, sustainability and local opportunities to promote Pollinator life. Activities will include honey and mead tasting garden, face painting, pollinator arts, music and more!
The Festival features special presentations by the Lakota Youth Development initiative, Amina Harris, Director of the Mondavi Honey and Pollination Center at UC Davis and OSU’s Andony Melathopoulos. Created in partnership with the Klamath Basin Beekeepers Association.
The Wood House Harvest Festival. October 6th & 7th, 2018 from 9-5pm. Collectibles, jewelry, wood products, antique fire engine, food vendor, crafts, music.Enjoy a free cookie baked on the wood stove in the Wood House kitchen by the “Cookie Lady”. Admission is $2, Seniors/children ages 7-12 are $1. Children 6 and under are free.

Come join us for music, apple cider and other goodies to celebrate the arrival of local apples and fall weather! We will have a selection of fresh apple varieties from local farmers to taste and help you determine which varieties to buy & plant in your own yard. Potted fruit trees will be for sale and you can secure your order for your bare root fruit trees when they arrive in spring.
All ages are welcome at this event, including leashed canines, which will begin at 10 am and run until 2 pm. Live music, local foods including fresh apples from local farms will be available for purchase; a kids crafts table, and more. Take a family photo with our fall colors as your backdrop!

Come celebrate Rogue Valley Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 on the ScienceWorks Hands On Museum grounds. This outdoor celebration will feature educational booths and exhibits on being a good steward of the earth, water, wildlife, climate, food and farms.
