Come celebrate Rogue Valley Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 on the ScienceWorks Hands On Museum grounds. This outdoor celebration will feature educational booths and exhibits on being a good steward of the earth, water, wildlife, climate, food and farms. There will also be kids activities, live music and more. Come join in the fun.

The 27th Annual Southern Oregon Kite Festival will be held Jul 20-21, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., on the kite field at the Port of Brookings-Harbor. This popular event is free and fun for all ages. See more than two dozen nationally and internationally renowned kite flyers perform amazing routines choreographed to music. Weekend activities also include free children’s kite building workshops and vendors selling eats, treats, and merchandise for the enjoyment of festival attendees. Free parking and free shuttles to the kite festival field are provided.
